Especial 1 (2019): Memorias del 5to Foro de Investigación de la Red de Posgrados en Salud en el Trabajo (Marzo-Agosto) KW - N2 - El autotransporte de carga es un elemento clave para la economía nacional, en este modo de transporte se mueven cerca del 83% de la carga a nivel nacional (IMT, 2015), y es utilizado como complemento, al inicio o al final, en casi todas las cadenas de trans-porte. Además, este subsector contribuye con 49% de los empleos del sector transporte, con más de 400 mil vehículos motrices y cerca de 760 mil conductores dedicados al movimiento de carga a nivel federal. Sin embargo, los conductores son susceptibles a proble-mas de salud, y al año hay cerca de 15,306 lesiona-dos, 1,095 muertos por accidentes de tránsito y 5180 incapacitados por enfermedades profesionales (IMSS, 2016). Así, a pesar de que los conductores son agentes claves para satisfacer las exigencias de los modelos logísticos, sus condiciones laborales tie-nen efectos en el servicio que no se han estudiado a cabalidad. Así, este trabajo busca identificar cómo las condiciones laborales de los conductores afectan en las entregas correctas de las empresas de auto-transporte de mercancías.
