Risk analysis in work at height in a construction company / Análisis de riesgos en trabajos en altura en una empresa constructora

Resumen

This work focused on determining the causes associated with accidents in activities involving work at height, understood as any action that runs at 1.80 meters above the floor level (according to the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, in Mexico); although there has been a normativity in recent decades with the objective of promoting safe working systems and activities, there is no determinant factor for the high percentage of accidents caused by this activity in Mexico; only in 2015 the highest number of deaths were in the construction industry of buildings and civil engineering, Therefore, we analyze the factors associated with accidents and incidents of work at height in a particular construction company, based on the identification of safety systems and the administrative procedures used to carry out these activities; The areas of opportunity were analyzed, actions and control measures were implemented according to the different activities carried out, adhering to the compliance with the corresponding Mexican Official Norms.
