Clinical case: acute poisoning due to exposure to hydrocarbons / Caso clínico: intoxicación aguda por exposición a hidrocarburos
Abstract
La intoxicación aguda por hidrocarburos con secuelas a largo plazo no está bien documentada (Tormoehlen et al., 2014), por lo que, se presenta el caso de una trabajadora que sufrió una intoxicación por derrame de gasolina en su trabajo. Se examinarán las circunstancias que rodearon el derrame de gasolina, las medidas de seguridad existentes y las acciones tomadas después del incidente para identificar las posibles causas y las áreas de mejora. También se explorarán el mecanismo de intoxicación y las medidas preventivas adecuadas para evitar futuros incidentes.
