Right unilateral diaphragmatic paralysis as a sequel to an occupational disease caused by COVID-19 / Parálisis diafragmática unilateral derecha como secuela de enfermedad de trabajo por COVID-19
Abstract
La parálisis diafragmática unilateral persistente es una secuela rara posterior a neumonía por COVID-19, con registro de 26 casos y 21 remisiones a nivel mundial. Se ha asociado directamente a COVID-19 severo y crítico, síndrome postCOVID-19 persistente y largo con sintomatología de disnea, hipoxia y uso de oxígeno de etiología no directa pulmonar. Se presenta un caso de sinergismo entre la comorbilidad de COVID-19 prolongado y polineuropatía en una cajera de hospital durante la pandemia la cual fue calificada con secuela de parálisis diafragmática unilateral derecha, este caso es el primero reportado como secuela de enfermedad de trabajo por este diagnóstico a nivel mundial.
